"Living Free"
Key Verse: Psalm 146:7 & 8
If we were made for FREEDOM, why do we get so trapped by circumstances, emotions, and futility? This is the story of how God has transformed my life from one of deep despair and loneliness to one of joy and hope--even when the laundry is not done, I've gained 10 pounds, and I have nothing to wear!
This is a realistic look at the ability of God to transform a life--even one that looks like the "ordinary crazy" most women experience!
More than just a testimony, it is a challenge and an encouragement to women that freedom for anyone who desires a relationship with Christ is theirs for the taking. Includes a Gospel presentation. Can be a keynote or a multiple session topic.
"Motherhood is Messy!"
Any Mom will tell you that Motherhood is not for the faint of heart. Motherhood is incredibly tiring, wonderful, confusing, stressful, joyous, frightening, and...well..MESSY. Even if you are not a Mom, all of us can struggle feeling like a bit of a "mess" at times. Aren't you glad Jesus came for MESSY people like us? Jesus Christ came to get His holy hands dirty--and much like the love of a Mother, He wasn't going to let the messy parts of His children stand in the way of His love. A great message of encouragement for Moms--especially of younger children!
"There’s No Place Like Home"
Key Verse: John 15:1-17
Abiding in Christ sounds great for people who can sit down all day with a warm cup of tea and study the Bible. It sounds great for the ladies whose children are well-behaved, husbands are helpful, and lives are in order. but what about abiding in the craziness?? Learn how to abide in Christ right there in the circumstance you are in. A great keynote message of encouragement and challenge.
"Ten Tips for Waiting at Disneyland and in Life"
Waiting can be hard! Waiting on God can either be a time of weariness and whiney-ness (is that really a word?? hmmm..) or it can be a time of fruitfulness and drawing near to our dear Abba. A great message for teens or women (especially of young kids!)
"Brave Hearts"
What does it mean to be truly strong in Christ? Bravery seems elusive to most of us, so we try to create our own sense of strength, and often miss what God most wants for our hearts and lives--to be strong in HIM! Learn the difference between true, womanly strength and hard-heartedness. A great keynote, or 2-3 in-depth sessions.
"Being REAL before God"
Sometimes it's tempting to want to clean ourselves up a bit before we go to God with our troubles. It's tempting to leave the reality of our fears, trials, resentments, and other not-so-attractive features in the dark when we present ourselves in prayer to God. But the Lord isn't interested in a show, fancy words, or our social standings. He wants us-completely, totally, and unabashedly--yucky stuff and all.
"Lessons from the Life of St. Patrick"
The Life of St. Patrick is an astounding journey about God's ability to take the things most crushing and diabolical in our lives and turn them around to be the most redeeming parts of our story. Learn about that guy we celebrate every year of March 17th, but few really know about! A great message of God's providence and redemption to inspire and teach anytime of year!
